Biologia Plantarum
Editor-in-Chief: Prof. RNDr. Viktor Žárský, CSc.
Executive Editor: Dr. rer. nat. Ing. Helena Plchová
Biologia plantarum, an international journal for experimental botany founded in 1959 by Professor Bohumil Němec, publishes original scientific papers, brief communications, reviews and hypotheses in plant biology fields of plant physiology, plant development, plant biochemistry and biophysics, plant cell biology, large scale plant omics and systems biology, physiological anatomy, ecophysiology, genetics, molecular biology, phytopathology, plant evolution, structure-function relationship, functional traits in plants, and tree biology.
The journal focuses on model and crop plants, as well as on under-investigated species. It has become a great advantage that the journal is completely an open access one since 2019, which enables significant widening published information.
Photosynthetica
Editor-in-Chief: RNDr. Helena Synková, CSc.
Executive Editor: Ing. Ivana Štětinová
Photosynthetica publishes original scientific papers and brief communications, reviews on specialized topics, book reviews and announcements and reports covering wide range of photosynthesis research or research including photosynthetic parameters of both experimental and theoretical nature and dealing with physiology, biophysics, biochemistry, molecular biology on one side and leaf optics, stress physiology and ecology of photosynthesis on the other side.
