Dear microscopists and future microscopists, 

We are excited to invite you to our brand-new course -  Basics of Plant Imaging, scheduled for 26–27 May 2026. This time, we’re going back to the fundamentals, to the very roots. A solid understanding of basic fluorescence light microscopy is essential for all of us, and this course is designed to strengthen it. 

Our hands-on sessions will focus on practical, everyday techniques, including:
• Confocal microscopy (both spinning disk and laser scanning)
• Widefield microscopy
• Stereomicroscopy 

As always, we will also cover bioimage analysis, along with applied scientific lectures. 

If you are a pre-graduate student, PhD student, or researcher, don’t hesitate to register—this course is for you. Scheduled for 26 – 27 May 2026.
